SB Dunks weren't meant to sit in the box.
They were meant to grind it.
BACKGROUND
The Nike SB Dunk was created in 2002 by skateboarders for one purpose - skating. Over the years, the sneakers became so valuable people locked them away in boxes rather than skating them. As the original marketplace for SB Dunks, eBay teamed up with Nike to remind people why Dunks were created in the first place.
IDEA
To celebrate the re-release of the iconic eBay SB Dunk from 2003, eBay and Nike created a first-of-its-kind skateable sneaker box, taking the modern symbol of unworn kicks and turning it into a constant reminder to use the shoes inside. Ten skateable boxes were auctioned off on eBay, with all proceeds benefiting the Bodecker Foundation—the charity started by the guy who founded Nike SB.
